Holly was born with a story in her head waiting to get out, and not much has changed since. Her earliest professional writing credit came at age thirteen, when she co-wrote scripts for a weekly local access realtor show. She’s adamant that this sounds a lot cooler than it actually was.
Though she had enough self-awareness to realize that few people can truly claim they write for a living, Holly was determined to make telling stories a part of her vocation. She is an award-winning marketing copywriter, fiction author, and developmental editor for numerous authors, maybe even a few you’ve read.
In 2008, Holly graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s in English and an emphasis in Creative Writing. She officially joined ADsmith in 2013, though in truth, she’s been around since its inception, and is even credited with giving the company its name. As senior copywriter, she does all kinds of wordsy stuff for ADsmith’s clients to ensure their messages are punchy, evocative, memorable…really, pick your adjective and your preferred tone and she’ll make it happen.
When she’s not making like Hamilton (writing like she’s running out of time), Holly enjoys catching movies with husband, spoiling her dogs, Luna and Oz, and gaming with friends.
