Carter Williams is a video editor with a storyteller’s instinct and more than a decade of experience turning footage into work people remember. An Ozarks native, he studied video production and music composition at Missouri State University—a combination that shaped how he thinks about pacing, sound, and emotion in every cut. Since 2016, he’s edited everything from short-form social content to long-form productions in both freelance and corporate settings.
His real passion is advertising. Carter loves the hardest version of the job: the ad nobody asked to see, the interruption that has to win someone over anyway. Converting that fleeting moment into something memorable is the challenge he lives for—and the one he’s excited to tackle for ADsmith’s clients, going above and beyond every step of the way.
When he’s not in the edit bay, Carter is chasing live music at venues big and small, cooking his way from the grill to the oven, and staying busy with golf, snowboarding, hiking, and video games with friends. He and his wife Leah have been married for more than seven years.
