Follow these instructions if you have an existing ad account. If one does not exist for your business, ADsmith can create the account and grant ownership and access.
- Login to the Facebook Account associated with having access to your Meta Ads Manager.
- Open Ads Manager and choose your business’s ad account.
- Share the Ad Account ID (a string of 16 numbers) with ADsmith via an email to admin@adsmith.biz.
- Approve ADsmith’s request to access the ad account. The notification should come through the email associated with the ad account.
Or to grant access rather than approve an access request:
- Go to Meta Business Suite – business.facebook.com.
- Click settings in bottom left.
- Make sure the business profile listed at the top is your company. If it isn’t, switch to it from the left hand column.
- Click People under Users.
- Add Sally Smith as an admin (erin@adsmith.biz or https://www.facebook.com/adsmithsgf/) Select the profile with the ADsmith logo as the profile picture.
- Turn all toggles on, even click to expand “View advanced options” and toggle these on as well to grant full admin account access.
- Once the user is added, then click Ad Accounts along the left. Choose your ad account.
- Click the white “Assign People” button and add Sally as an admin with full control.
