Granting Access to Google Analytics

Follow these instructions if you have an existing ad account. If one does not exist for your business, ADsmith can create the account and grant ownership and access.

Definitions:

UA: Universal Analytics. This is the Analytics platform that Google recently retired.

GA4: Google Analytics 4. This is the new platform Google rolled out in 2023.

1. Log in to Google Analytics.
2. Select the GA4 property for your Analytics account.
3. Click the blue settings icon on the bottom left.
4. On the left under Account, click “Account Access Management”.
5. Click the blue plus sign in the righthand corner.
6. Choose add users and enter morgan.adsmith@gmail.com.
7. Choose Administrator then click “Add”.
