Studio Director / Senior Video Producer

We’re Looking for a Video Unicorn — But We Know They Exist

ADsmith is ready for our next chapter. Our long-term Studio Director is leaving big shoes to fill, and we’re not just looking to fill them; we’re seeking someone to take that role, stretch it, reimagine it, and run with it.

We want a Studio Director / Senior Video Producer who will lead our in-house production studio, elevate our video and multimedia offerings, and become an indispensable creative force in our collaborative, high-performing team. You’ll drive everything from lo-fi social snippets to full-on, high-production brand stories and everything in between.

You’ll love this role if you’re someone who thrives on crafting bold visual narratives, confidently leading productions, and getting your hands dirty with gear, editing, and creative ideation. If you also see the evolving landscape of AI as an opportunity – not as a threat – and you’re eager to explore how emerging tools can push creative production forward, you’ll feel right at home here.

A Little About Us

We’re ADsmith, a team of strategists, creatives, media specialists, researchers, and award-winning storytellers who believe in Intentional Marketing. That means everything we do is grounded in smart strategy and data, but with an eye toward human connection and real-world results.

We work with regional brands, national manufacturers and franchises, and passionate local businesses across a wide range of industries. Some are exciting and high-profile; others are quieter but equally essential. We treat them all with the same level of creativity, curiosity, and care.

What You’ll Do

Creative Leadership

Be a key voice in ideation, strategy, and concept development for video and multimedia. Pitch big ideas. Translate vague concepts into compelling treatments.

Production Direction

Take the reins on set. Direct crews, talent, and clients with confidence and calm. Make shoot days efficient, creative, and even fun.

Hands-On Execution

From shooting footage to sourcing locations, recording voiceovers, or manipulating audio in Audition, you’re a doer, not just a delegator. You know your way around cameras, mics, drones, editing bays, and After Effects timelines.

Collaboration

Work alongside designers, strategists, media planners, and clients to bring campaigns to life. Know when to listen, when to lead, and how to communicate like a pro.

Scalable Production

Whether it’s a quick-turn Instagram reel or a multi-day shoot with a crew of ten, you know how to scale your process while keeping quality high and budgets tight.

Technical Chops

File management, render specs, AI-enhanced workflows, color grading, drone flight logs? You get it. You can troubleshoot gear, handle the technical stuff, and mentor others.
