Long before founding ADsmith in 2000, Angela learned what it means to build something meaningful. She saw the challenges and triumphs of small business through her family—her great-grandfather’s country store, her grandmother’s café, and the print shop where she worked from grade school through college. After graduating summa cum laude from SMSU (now MSU), she stepped into marketing through radio copywriting, quickly earning recognition for her creative voice.
Her talent led her into agency work, where she helped win and manage the local Coca-Cola Bottling Company account and gained invaluable experience in media analysis, negotiation, and buying from Coca-Cola USA. Leadership roles at three agencies followed, each one shaping the foundation for what would become ADsmith.
From a one-person operation, Angela grew ADsmith into a collaborative, high-performing team known for service, strategy, and results. Her dedication to the industry earned her the American Advertising Federation of the Ozarks’ Silver Medal Award, recognizing her contributions to advertising, creativity, and social responsibility.
Today, Angela’s legacy continues through the people and principles she instilled. Her influence remains woven into the agency’s culture, guiding how the team approaches every project and every partnership.
Beyond her professional achievements, Angela has always been deeply committed to community service. Throughout her career, she has supported numerous nonprofits, volunteered her time and expertise, and lent her marketing skills to organizations making a difference across the region.
ADsmith stands on the foundation Angela created: a commitment to doing the right thing, treating clients like partners, and always striving for work that makes an impact. Her story is the beginning of ours—and her legacy continues to shape where we go next.
